Letter from our Board Chair Every day 15.1 million youth leave school and are left unsupervised with no place to go. Boys & Girls Clubs are open after school, when kids need them the most. Since 2012, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Stanislaus County has worked to fulfill its mission of empowering youth to reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible individuals. Currently our Clubs serve over 1,200 youth. Members like Raquel, age 11, participate in Smart Moves designed to boost self-esteem and confidence in girls. She says, “I know I can accomplish anything because the Boys & Girls Club are preparing me for success.” In this newsletter we share Club highlights from September and invite you to learn more about the impact we are making on local youth. The future is bright for our Clubs and together we can ensure that Great Futures Start Here.
